Relative Strength Index compares the size of recent gains to recent losses over 14 sessions, on a 0–100 scale. It measures how one-sided the recent move has been — not whether a company is cheap or expensive.
At 75.2 it is in the zone usually called overbought — buyers have been in control and the move is stretched. Stretched is not the same as finished; strong trends can sit above 70 for weeks.
RSI describes the recent past. It has no view on earnings, on the news, or on what happens next.
A “golden cross” is the day the 50-session average price rises above the 200-session average. It is shorthand for “the recent trend has turned up relative to the longer one”.
Right now the 50-day sits 21.2% above the 200-day (5.03 vs 4.15). They have not crossed in the year of history we hold, so this is a long-standing posture rather than a fresh event — which is the opposite of how the phrase usually gets used.
Both averages are built entirely from past prices, so the cross confirms a move that has already happened — it does not forecast one. The dramatic names are much older than the evidence for them, and neither is a reason on its own to do anything.
Tap any tile for what it measures and what this reading says. These are arithmetic on past prices, not forecasts, and not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. They are here so you can see the same numbers we do.
Pyxis Tankers owns and operates a small fleet of product tankers that transport refined petroleum products globally. Revenue depends on tanker charter rates, fleet utilization, and vessel sale/purchase decisions.
How far today’s price sits below the highest price of the last 12 months. A plain measure of where in its own range a stock is trading.
It is within 2.8% of its highest price in a year — effectively at the top of its own range.
A 52-week high is an accident of the last 12 months, not a valuation. A stock can be at its high and cheap, or far below it and expensive.
Average daily volume over the last 20 sessions against the 40 sessions before that. It measures whether attention is building or fading, nothing else.
Average volume over the last 20 sessions is 4.63× the prior 40 — markedly more people are trading it than were a couple of months ago. Something is drawing attention; the ratio does not say what, or which side is buying.
Volume is direction-blind. Heavy trading means conviction on both sides of the trade, not agreement.
