Relative Strength Index compares the size of recent gains to recent losses over 14 sessions, on a 0–100 scale. It measures how one-sided the recent move has been — not whether a company is cheap or expensive.
At 41.7 it sits in the middle. Neither side has been dominant recently, which means this indicator is not telling you much right now — and saying so is more useful than inventing a signal.
RSI describes the recent past. It has no view on earnings, on the news, or on what happens next.
A “death cross” is the day the 50-session average price falls below the 200-session average. It is shorthand for “the recent trend has turned down relative to the longer one”.
Right now the 50-day sits 11.0% below the 200-day (51.23 vs 57.54). The averages last crossed 50 sessions ago, so this is a recent change of posture.
Both averages are built entirely from past prices, so the cross confirms a move that has already happened — it does not forecast one. The dramatic names are much older than the evidence for them, and neither is a reason on its own to do anything.
Tap any tile for what it measures and what this reading says. These are arithmetic on past prices, not forecasts, and not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. They are here so you can see the same numbers we do.
MP Materials owns and operates the Mountain Pass rare earth mine and processing facility in California, the only integrated rare earth mining and processing site in the United States. It is building out downstream magnet manufacturing to supply neodymium-praseodymium (NdPr) magnets for electric vehicle motors, defense systems, and other high-performance applications, positioning itself as a key non-China link in the rare earth supply chain.
How far today’s price sits below the highest price of the last 12 months. A plain measure of where in its own range a stock is trading.
It is 49.6% below its 12-month high, which is a large drawdown. Whether that is an opportunity or a warning depends entirely on why, and this number cannot tell you why.
A 52-week high is an accident of the last 12 months, not a valuation. A stock can be at its high and cheap, or far below it and expensive.
Average daily volume over the last 20 sessions against the 40 sessions before that. It measures whether attention is building or fading, nothing else.
Volume is running at 0.93× the prior stretch — broadly normal for this name.
Volume is direction-blind. Heavy trading means conviction on both sides of the trade, not agreement.
